About Credit Cards

The small print, explained like humans

There is a 3% transaction fee on all credit card payments. Good news: cash and debit card payments do not carry this fee.

Why? Because credit card companies charge us for every swipe. Rather than quietly baking those fees into everyone’s treatment cost (which wouldn’t be very fair), we apply the fee only when a credit card is used.

In short:

Use a credit card → the card company takes a cut
Use cash or debit → you keep that 3%

Insurance & Responsibility

The not-so-fun but important part

Insurance can help—but it doesn’t take over.

  • You are ultimately responsible for all fees charged by this office, regardless of insurance coverage.
  • We submit claims when applicable and track responses.
  • Most insurance companies respond within 4–6 weeks.

You’ll receive a monthly statement. If insurance hasn’t posted by then, give us a call—we’re happy to look into it. Any remaining balance after insurance pays is your responsibility, and prompt payment is appreciated.

If you need a monthly payment arrangement, it must be set up before your procedure (not after—trust us, this works better for everyone).
