Head Surgical Assistant
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Mayerling Low, a Periodontist from the Dominican Republic, who serves as our Head Surgical Assistant. She brings advanced periodontal training, exceptional attention to detail, and a calm, caring presence to every procedure. Dr. Low is highly skilled in assisting with IV placement, drawing blood, and preparing PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), providing essential support for both surgery and anesthesia. Her clinical expertise and compassionate demeanor help ensure a safe, comfortable experience for our patients and seamless coordination for our surgical team.
Surgical Assistant and RN (Registered Nurse)
Banesa Castro is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She is uniquely qualified to support both our surgical and anesthesia teams, with advanced skills in IV placement, blood draws, and intraoperative patient monitoring. Known for her warm, caring demeanor, Banesa has a natural ability to put patients at ease before, during, and after surgery. Her clinical expertise and compassionate approach help ensure a safe, smooth, and comfortable experience for every patient we treat.
